FBI's woman official accused of sexual abuse

Fahim Ansari, an accused in the terror strikes on Mumbai, has accused that a woman FBI interrogator had sexually abused her during the course of investigations.

Ansari's lawyer Ejaz Naqvi filed an application in the court today. In the application, Ansari has alleged that three investigators of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interrogated him.

However, one of them who was a woman sexually abused her for long hours during the night. Ansari's counsel has also objected to the questioning of his client by foreign investigators.

He has alleged that the sexual harassment and torture caused itches and wounds in his private parts. Naqvi has sought medical examination and proper treatment for his client.

Reply has been sought from the Crime Branch of Mumbai police as to whether the US agency sleuths were allowed to interrogate the terror accused without any such permission.

Ansari and his brother are in the custody of Crime Branch for their alleged role in the 26/11 terrorist strikes. They were arrested from Uttar Pradesh in connection with the attack on CRPF cam.

Ajmar Amir Kasab is the sole survivor among the terrorists who had held people hostage in various hostels and resorted to indiscriminate firing in the metropolis in November last year.
