Shipla Shetty pays obeisance at Shirdi

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty reached the famous shrine at Shirdi and paid obeisance to Sai Baba on Thursday. She thanked the Baba for changing her fortunes.

Shilpa, whose career was on the down slide until her entry into the reality show Big Brother, is riding high on popularity. Revealing her faith in Baba, she says that the blessings of Sai have brought her tremendous luck and success in life.

"I was shooting for a movie at Nashik and as the place is not too far, Idecided to come here for prayers", said Shetty, who was in the news for buying stakes in Rajasthan Royals cricket team that will participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL). She bought a 12% stake.

The actress said that she is a devout Sai-bhakt and makes it a point to come to the shrine at least once every year. The star actress had recently donated a huge amount for the Greenathon campaign.

It was the Big Brother show that brought her international acclaim. Currently Shilpa is busy doing a host of Bollywood and foreign movies apart from her newly found business ventures.
