Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has presented the record of his telephonic conversation with the slain ATS chief Hemant Karkare just before the terrorist strike on Mumbai.
Singh showed the call record obtained from BSNL office at Bhopal. In his press conference at Delhi, the former Congress Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, asked Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil to apologise.
Patil had earlier said that Digvijay's claims were baseless and there was no record of his conversation with Karkare. Sangh Parivar and BJP leaders had also targeted Singh but the Congress leader today turned tables.
Digvijay Singh had earlier said that the former ATS chief had told him over phone that he was receiving threats from extremists after he had arrested Hindu terrorist groups' involvement in the Malegaon bomb blast.
