The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in a soup after the name firebrand Hindutva leader Yogi Adityanath has come up during interrogation with Saffron terror suspects.
Adityanath is alleged to have financed the terrorism network and also supplied arms to the Hindu terrorists who attacked Muslim shrines and mosques in minority dominated Cities like Malegaon, Hyderabad, Ajmer, Modasa amongst others.
Bharat Rateshwar, a close aide of terrorist mastermind Aseemanand, has spilled the beans, claims Times Now channel, which showed a report about Rateshwar's interrogation report. He has confessed t hat Adityanath helped the network and provided arms and ammunitions.
Adityanath who is an MP from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh is known for his anti-Muslim rhetoric. He has been under the scanner earlier also. Rateshwar, who hails from Gujarat, has said that he and RSS activist Sunil Joshi had met Aditya Nath for assistance.
Apart from him the role of Indresh Kumar has already come up during the course of investigation by National Investigation Agency (NIA). The BJP has maintained a measured silence and its spokespersons have kept mum. RSS has also been reticent though its spokesman Ram Madhav said that he was against spreading stories of such interrogation reports.
