Hardline Hindutva leader Sadhvi Prachi who is known for her controversial statements, has again created a stir.
The BJP leader has now said that Hindus should not see Bollywood movies that have the Khans playing the lead role.
Her ire was directed chiefly at Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, who are the leading film stars in India for more than two decades.
Prachi was speaking at a Vishwa Hindu Parishad programme in Dehradun (Uttarakhand) when she made this statement.
She said that these movies preach the wrong 'sanskaar' (cultural traditions) that have wrong impact on the minds of the Hindu youth. Prachi has earlier been chided by the BJP for her inflammatory statements made in the public.
Prachi had earlier said that Hindu women who produce four kids would be rewarded. When this led to controversy, she said that she had just asked to produce four kids, not 40 pillay (puppies). Prachi was warned by the BJP leadership but she continues with her statements.
Also, she had recently questioned Father of Nation status given to Mahatma Gandhi. The firebrand Sadhvi has been targeting Christian missionaries and has been leading the ghar wapasi movement to re-convert Muslims and Christians too.
